Strive Birmingham
Through Strive Birmingham, we offer comprehensive skills training, job placement assistance, and entrepreneurship support. This program helps residents build sustainable careers, opening doors to new opportunities and providing the skills needed to thrive in the workforce.
Urban Development and Transit
We are transforming Woodlawn through initiatives such as Urban Main, the development of Bus-Rapid Transit, and Transit-Oriented Development. These projects enhance mobility and connectivity, making the community more accessible and fostering economic growth.
Retail and Landmark Revitalization
Woodlawn’s economic vitality is also supported by new retail development and the revitalization of historic landmarks, such as the iconic Woodlawn Theatre. These efforts bring new energy to the community, creating spaces where businesses and culture can grow together. By investing in the economic well-being of our community, we are helping ensure that residents have access to the resources they need to achieve long-term success.
