Mashonda Taylor is the Program Director for Woodlawn Foundation. As program director, Mashonda identifies and manages the implementation of effective family support services to insulate the schools within the Woodlawn Innovation Network (WIN) feeder pattern and throughout the Woodlawn community. Mashonda also administers all grants disbursed to Woodlawn United Partners.
Mashonda is a graduate of Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Gonzaga University with a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership. Mashonda is dedicated to community service and has served with Impact Family Counseling (Mentee/Mentor of the Year in 2009), Big Brothers /Big Sisters, and on the Advisory Board of the YMCA Youth Center. Mashonda was also selected as member of Mayor William Bell’s Young Professionals United delegation in 2011. She currently chairs the Teen Leadership program placement with Girls Inc. through the Junior League of Birmingham, is a board member for Jones Valley Teaching Farm, is member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, a Trustee for the Mount Hillard Baptist Church, and a member of the 2015 class of Leadership UAB.
